New King Gambrinus, king of beer, display being unveiled for La Crosse’s Oktoberfest

Where can you see statues of King Gambrinus in La Crosse?

As of this week, there will be three statues of the “king of beer” on display in the city.

Besides the existing likenesses of Gambrinus outside Harborview Plaza and the brewery, a third statue is being unveiled this week, at the start of Oktoberfest.

The new Gambrinus will be unveiled Thursday morning at the festgrounds. The Cleary-Kumm Foundation has donated the newest of the statues.
