MILITARY LOUNGE PLANNED AT AIRPORT

THE IDEA IS THAT TRAVELING SOLDIERS WAITING FOR A PLANE FLIGHT DESERVE BETTER THAN HAVING TO SIT ON HARD AIRPORT CHAIRS, OR SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR.

THAT’S WHY THE LA CROSSE AIRPORT IS MAKING PLANS FOR A SMALL MILITARY LOUNGE ON THE MAIN FLOOR OF THE TERMINAL. DAN WRUCK, THE AIRPORT MANAGER, SAYS THE SPECIAL LOUNGE IS BEING PLANNED FOR THE EXTREME SOUTH END OF THE TERMINAL.  ONE REASON FOR THAT LOCATION, ACCORDING TO WRUCK…IT’S CLOSE TO A BUS STOP NEAR THE TERMINAL ENTRANCE. THE LA CROSSE CITY COUNCIL COULD GIVE ITS OKAY NEXT MONTH.
