Road Work Update

When will crews in LaCrosse county start road construction projects?  Within a few weeks the highway department can start addressing some minor repair work.  But, it takes warmer weather to hit the area before the heavy lifting can begin says highway commissioner Dennis Osgood.  Could be late April or early May before the major work gets going.  Osgood and his crews are getting ready.  This week they began submitting bids to purchase the materials for this spring and summer’s road construction projects.  LaCrosse county has road projects planned for a stretch of highway near Bangor and another one near Mindoro.
