First Rental Moratorium Exemption Request Approved

Success for the very first application for an exemption to new rules regarding rental moratoriums in the city of La Crosse. The moratorium went into effect last week and is meant to keep single-family owner occupied homes in the city from getting turned into rental properties. The first exemption goes to a woman who owns a home on the far southside. Not a rental, says the woman, because her relatives who live there don’t pay rent.
