Police Union Takes Exception to Walker Suggestion
More than a few concerns raised by police and fire union representatives in Wisconsin this week after comments by governor Walker during a talk in front of a group on Monday. Walker suggested he would welcome an expansion of collective bargaining restrictions put in place for public employees through the controversial Act 10. Jim Palmer heads the state police union. The governor’s office says Walker has no intention of pushing legislation to expand collective bargaining restrictions to include emergency responders.
