La Crosse Mayor Resists Fee Increases
Wrong time for higher inspection fees in La Crosse? Mayor Tim Kabat thinks so. He’s opposed to a proposal to hike inspection fees for plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Because people can’t afford higher fees. And because a study by city staff showed they might not be warranted
The full city council votes on the proposed fee hikes at a meeting tonight. The fee schedule would come with an automatic yearly increase.
