Church Seeks Council Approval for Bells

Never send to ask for whom the bell tolls, because, soon, it will be tolling for members of the English Lutheran Church in La Crosse.  The church, if given the okay by the city council, will beginning erecting a bell tower this fall.  A religiously practical addition, says English Lutheran’s Paul Sannerud

The tower will have three, electronically controlled bells. A gift to the church from one of its members.  The city council votes on the bell tower at meetings next month.
