Feuding Neighbors Exact Ongoing Police Response
A northside La Crosse feud between neighbors continues to tie up police resources in a city struggling with a heroin epidemic and a rash of drug crimes. Cops say they visit a couple of guys on the corner of Loomis and Gillette on an almost weekly basis. The latest came over a dispute regarding a lawnmower. The one neighbor is angry at the other guy because he parks his RV in the driveway. Legal, apparently. What is not is the angry neighbor’s attempt at retribution. He left his lawnmower running with the throttle open near the fence just to irritate the RV owner. And then swore loudly at passing cars while the officer was writing a ticket for the loud noise. Which netted him another citation for disorderly conduct.
