Lawmaker, Former Officer Unsure About MPH Jump

Not all lawmakers in Madison thrilled with the prospect of driving faster.  Trempealeau state rep Chris Danou, a former police officer, says he’s not completely sold on the new idea of increasing the state’s speed limit to 70 miles per hour.  Because that won’t actually mean driving 70 miles per hour

Just this week, Illinois became the last of Wisconsin’s neighbors to increase the speed limit to at least 70 miles per hour on certain highways.
