Wisconsin Farmers Hooking Up Well
Maybe Wisconsin farmers have lost the dairy race to California. Perhaps corn crops aren’t as big as other states. But when it comes to logging on to the internet farmers in Wisconsin do pretty well compared to the rest of the nation. A new study from the USDA finds 72 percent of farmers in the state have internet access, compared to a national average of only 67 percent. Still, 27 percent of farmers in the state not only don’t have internet, they don’t even own a computer.
