Neighborhood Group Trend Growing
Apparently, another successful start for a new neighborhood association in La Crosse. A huge turnout earlier this summer for a new group around Weigent Park has been followed by another well-attended first meeting for the Holy Trinity-Longfellow association. So many extra people showed up at the south branch meeting for that one, says Neighborhood Revitalization Commission chair, Sara Sullivan, that chairs had to be used from the kids section of the library
Sullivan tells us she’s in talks with yet another group looking to form on the city’s northside. These new additions come after years of having no new neighborhood groups.
