Monroe County Justice Center Moving Along
Seems as though the entire downtown of Sparta will vastly change when
construction of a new jail and courthouse begins next year. Cathy Schmitt, Monroe County county administrator said things are moving along quickly now.
The next big step will be for the county boatd to approve bonding measures to pay for the over $20 million complex. A groundbreaking takes place in the Spring of 2014.
