La Crosse Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty To Fed Charges

30 year old Jonathan Banaszkiewicz, a man La Crosse Police sold drugs to…..raided his house and chased him down after they served a search warrant on his house……pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to distributing meth and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He now faces five years to life in prison and a $1 million fine.

Banaszkiewicz was busted back in mid April after police had conducted a controlled buy of meth. Police then went to search the mans house…..that’s when he ran…..threw away a gun he had on him…..and was found with meth. The 30 year old admitted the items were his.

The La Crosse man, with drug convictions already on his record, was indicted for meth distribution, using a gun in connection with a drug offense and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He will receive a recommendation from the government for a reduced sentence in exchange for his guilty plea to the drug and first gun charge.
