University and City Agree on Facilities Arrangement

A deal appears all but done between the city of La Crosse and UWL.  Negotiators for both sides have worked out an agreement that will allow the college baseball team to play at Copeland park for free in exchange for the city using the university tennis courts for free each summer.  In addition, the city won’t charge the university’s alumni association to put an illuminated L atop Grandad Bluff during homecoming.
