Medallion Searchers Leaving A Mess In The Park

Some Oktoberfest medallion hunters have been leaving a mess behind, in their search for the festival prize.

Oktoberfest spokesman Kevin Buelow says people looking for the medallion apparently have caused damage in Riverside Park and the international gardens. City Hall, and Oktoberfest, want searchers to be respectful of public and private property. This year’s medallion hunt began Monday morning.
