Jackson County Missing Man

Jackson County sheriff’s officials want to question the son of a missing Town of Hixton man.

Investigators say the 20-year-old son may armed and dangerous and mentally unstable. Sheriff Duane Waldera says foul play has not been ruled out in the disappearance of the 57-year-old father, who has been missing for more than a week.

A family member went to the residence the father and son shared and spotted someone trying to hide inside the house. The relative called the sheriff’s department. Deputies arrived and didn’t find anyone at the house.
