Central, Aquinas Get Rent Break At UWL Stadium
A couple of local football teams will get a financial break, while they continue to play on their long-time turf…
The rent for Central and Aquinas to play ball games at the U-W-L stadium has been cut by 30 per cent, under a new 10-year agreement between the three schools. La Crosse Mayor Tim Kabat is happy to see the university and the high schools cooperating.
The high school sports programs were concerned about steep increases in rent for Memorial Field in recent years. The current cost for renting the football field for a night is 22-hundred dollars.
