Eagle Scout Project Damaged By Vandals
Some in the little Vernon county village of Chaseburg are apparently so excited about new light poles installed along a walking path that they destroyed them. Vernon county cops are hoping for the public’s help in tracking down vandals that took out several newly installed solar-powered light poles along the village walking path over the week-end. Several of the lamps glass globes were shattered and one light pole was knocked off its base. The light poles came courtesy of an Eagle Scout project by a Chaseburg scout. Cops say those with info about the damage can get rewards of up to a thousand dollars.
