Kind’s Job Not Done Yet
With hours left for Congress to finalize and pass legislation before the
United States’ borrowing authority expired, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell formally unveiled a plan Wednesday night that will fund the government through January 15th and lift the debt limit through February 7th. Congressman Ron Kind says though the partial shutdown was averted, his job is not done yet.
Expectations for any large, long range deal are low.
