One of La Crosse’s earliest Riverfest Commodores has died…

Lee Snapp was known as a past president of the La Crosse Convention Bureau, and for work at the Heileman brewery and in local radio. Snapp was chosen as Commodore for the 1988 Riverfest. Fellow Commodore Art Fahey says ‘the Snapper’ set a good example for the future royalty of Riverfest in promoting the festival.

Fahey calls Snapp a ‘larger than life’ guy.
