Miles And Miles Put Down Every Day Here
Lots of miles being laid down on Wisconsin roads. That’s according to the
state DOT who says motorists drove over 59 billion miles in the Badger State last year. That’s up from 2011.
The DOT says drivers in La Crosse County put down over 2.5 million miles a day. That amounts to 915 million miles a year.
The average Wisconsinite went over 10 thousand miles on the state’s highways and streets last year. The DOT credits the increase to an improved economy, with more commercial vehicles delivering goods.
