Town, Protestors at Odds Over Sign Rule

A constitutional fight over signs on a interstate pedestrian bridge in the town of Campbell has led to another confrontation.  A video has surfaced of the confrontation between a protest group and police late last week

The town of Campbell passed an ordinance this month that prohibits any kind of sign from being hung from the overpass.  Police chief, Tim Meleman, refused a recorded interview but told us the t-shirts worn by the group on the bridge calling for the impeachment of the president constituted a sign.  Those wearing the t-shirts were told to disperse or get ticketed.
