$14 Million Referendum Passes In Arcadia
By a vote of 556 to 492, voters in Arcadia have approved a $14 million school
referendum.
The District can now move forward on building a new Middle School to house 5th through 8th grades. It will be attached to the high school and will cost about $12 million. About $2 million of the referendum dollars will also pay for improvements to the elementary school.
District Superintendent, Louie Ferguson tells WIZM news that the project will not raise taxes.
