I-90 Bridge Worker Hurt In Fall

A construction worker at the Dresbach bridge project is being treated in La Crosse after a fall…

We’re told that the man fell at least 20 feet into water at a cofferdam on the Mississippi, around 9 o’clock this morning.  He was ferried from the dam area to the Minnesota bank of the river, where an ambulance transported the man to Gundersen in La Crosse. Firefighters from La Crescent and French Island took part in the rescue effort.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
