Ad Hoc Housing Committee to Release Report in December

Huge changes for La Crosse housing in store?  Maybe not.  City council member James Cherf is on the committee charged with coming up with solutions for blight in the city while a rental conversion moratorium is in place.  A report from that committee should come next month, says Cherf.  They’ve done what they can, he says, in the short amount of time available.  And there’s been plenty learned

And no easy solutions to that, says Cherf, although the committee has spent lots of time examining how the city enforces current rules regarding housing.
