Monroe County DA Laid To Rest Today
Governor Scott Walker is seeking applicants for Monroe County District
Attorney. Former District Attorney, Dan Cary, passed away at his home in Sparta, Monday. Judge David Rice says Cary will be hard to replace.
Cary specialized in prosecuting some of the county’s most severe criminal cases including homicide, sexual assault, drug, and child abuse matters.
The Governors office said the new appointee will serve out the remainder of the term and will be up for election in November 2016.
