A suspect in a reckless homicide case from La Crosse County has been arrested in Madison…

Malachi Hankel was stopped by a Dane County deputy this morning on the Madison beltline, after seeing that a warrant had been issued for Hankel. La Crosse County issued the warrant yesterday, charging Hankel with first-degree reckless homicide and delivering drugs. A criminal complaint charges that Hankel gave heroin to Thomas Tremain of Barre Mills, who apparently died from an overdose on September 6th.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
