Employee Raise At Stake in City Council Vote Tonight
La Crosse city employees are hopeful for the outcome of a vote tonight in city hall for a spending plan for next year. The city council votes on a $70 million budget that includes a three percent pay raise for all workers. Which is a solid plan, says city coucil finance committee chair, Audrey Kader
While Kader supports raises for city employees, she does not support mayor Tim Kabat’s plan for no increase to the city’s property tax rate.
