Facing 30 Years For Porn, La Farge Man To Be Re-sentenced For Car Theft

Michael Eales of La Farge will be sentenced for a car theft charge from 2009 that had been dropped as part of a diversion deal. The punishment for this charge may be short, compared to the 30-year prison term Eales recently received for making child pornography. The 23-year-old Eales was sentenced last month in federal court for having sexual contact with a one-year-old boy while producing child porn. Vernon County also is waiting to prosecute Eales on sexual assault charges, apparently connected to the pornography case.
