Hixon Forest Hunt Ready To Go
The City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will partner
up with the North American Squirrel Association and the DNR to hold a controlled deer hunt for persons with physical disabilities. Jay Odegaard says the hunt takes place in Hixon Forest next weekend for 21 hunters and their mentors.
The deer hunt will be held on December 7th and 8th from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm each day in the Hixon Forest. Hixon Forest will be closed in its entirety for those two days due to safety reasons.
