The Oktoberfest royal family played a German-style ‘Jingle Bells’ during the holiday parade through La Crosse Friday night. The parade lasted about a half-hour, ending at Riverside Park where the Rotary Lights display was switched on. Tim Oehler (Ay-ler) announced the grand prize entry from the parade:
The prize for ‘best lit’ parade entry went to Mayo Clinic, for its lighted Chinese dragon…promoting the dragon-boat races returning to the Mississippi next summer.
