AARP Says Take Fed Money
About 83 thousand childless adults living below the poverty line would
qualify for BadgerCare starting next year when new eligibility guidelines go into effect. But a move by the state’s budget Committee Monday will delay those changes, leaving thousands uncovered for three more months. Helen Marks Dicks with AARP says that wouldn’t happen had the state received some Fed money.
Not gonna happen as the Governor has twice now shot down fed monies.
The Assembly is scheduled to vote on it in a special session called by Walker on Wednesday, with the Senate taking it up later in the month.
