A judge has found probable cause to try Michael Harmon of Black River Falls for the June murder of Angela Nelson. Harmon claims he shot Nelson by accident during a struggle at their apartment, but an investigation suggests the shot was fired from a distance. Harmon’s bond in the Jackson County jail remains at half-a-million dollars.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
