Corrected Tax Bills Sent Out Today from La Crosse
Dozens of people had some eye-popping experiences opening their property tax bills from the city of La Crosse this month. Those people suddenly found they had tax bills equaling tens of thousands of dollars. All a mistake, we’re told. City finance director Wayne Delagrave says the error came from city hall. New, corrected tax bills are getting sent out from the city today. About 75 property owners were affected by the mistake.
