Another Deadly Crash Into Water, In Winona

Two bodies have been recovered from a car that went into the Mississippi River at Winona…

Police in Winona got a call early Sunday morning, after a witness found a broken guard rail, a license plate, and tracks near the river.  The car was brought out of the water around noon, and the bodies of a man and woman were inside the vehicle.  This crash comes less than a week after a woman from Winona died when her car crashed into Swift Creek in La Crosse.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
