County Advertises Examiner; Works On Dane Co. Agreement
In agreement between Dane and La Crosse Counties for autopsies and testimony
in some court cases ran out at the end of last month. And as La Crosse County looks to hire a new medical examiner to replace John Steers, who retired last April, we asked County Administrator, Steve O’Malley where they are now with Dane County.
A new agreement is currently being discussed. Meanwhile, O’Malley said he expects to make a recommendation about a new county medical examiner to the county board in the next few months.
