Onalaska Nominations Extended

There’s more time for candidates to enter one Onalaska city council race for

April. The filing deadline for a two-year seat in district 3 has been extended to Friday afternoon, because incumbent Jack Pogreba failed to submit papers saying he would not be a candidate this year.  Four of the six Onalaska council seats will be up for election in the spring, including the other 3rd district seat held by Harvey Bertrand.  He was just appointed in June, and the person who wins that seat will serve just one year.
