Moratorium Extension Could Help Refine Committee Recommendations
A special housing committee in La Crosse could get another kick at the can after tonight. The city council is set to vote on extending the city’s rental conversion moratorium by two or three months. Neighborhood Revitalization Commission chair, Sara Sullivan says the committee needs longer to finish its work in coming up with recommendations for dealing with La Crosse’s deteriorating housing stock
The rental conversion moratorium was put into place in July. It was set to expire in a little less than two weeks.
