Walker Stops In La Crosse
While some legislators in Wisconsin want the state to accept more health care
funding from Washington, Governor Walker is defending how his administration is paying for that care.
During a stop in La Crosse yesterday, Walker said the state has put two billion dollars into Medicaid during the last three years. He tells reporters that state residents are being covered under the BadgerCare program:
The governor says Wisconsin is funding health care in a way that doesn’t expose people to possible tax increases that might result from the Affordable Care Act.
