WI Supreme Court Won’t Hear Bryan Stanley Appeal

The high court decided last month not to review Stanley’s latest attempt to be released from the Mendota hospital, where he has been committed for killing three men at an Onalaska church in 1985.  An appeals court rejected Stanley’s release request last May, saying that he waited more than a year to report violent thoughts to doctors. Stanley actually was allowed out of the state hospital for a few years, under a previous ruling by the court of appeals.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
