Ballots Full Of Referendums
The Tomah School board is asking voters there for additional funds to
cover budget shortfalls triggered by declining enrollment. West Salem wants funds to build a new Middle School. La Crosse needs the extra dough for programs, teachers, maintenance and technology. Onalaska needs the cash for a major addition and remodeling at Northern Hills Elementary and a gym addition and remodeling at Irving Pertzsch Elementary. Superintendent Fran Finco says the bottom line to obtaining the funds?
All four referendums have passed their school boards and will be seen on either February or April ballots.
