Doyle Applauds Heroin Talks In Madison

La Crosse County has spent several months studying the rise of heroin abuse

in the area. The drug problem is now getting serious attention at the State Capitol.  Yesterday, the Assembly passed four bills aimed at reducing heroin use, and helping emergency workers give aid to overdose victims.  State rep Steve Doyle of Onalaska likes the intent of the bills, but says the state isn’t backing up the potential laws with funding to local government:

The Senate will now vote on the heroin bills.
