Big Vote For County Board Tonight
Six months ago, some La Crosse County Board members thought things were
moving too fast. They bought themselves some time to decide whether to sell the old courthouse and jail for 250-thousand dollars, and move county offices somewhere else. Well, the time has come for a decision. Tonight. Supervisor Steve Doyle believes the county has not done a good job telling the public that the former courthouse is in rough shape:
Besides voting on the future of the administrative center, the board is also being asked to buy Associated Bank for office space…a proposal which only became public last week.
