Still No Luck In Finding Mississippi River Body
The search has lasted through snow and bitter cold, along with mild and
sunny weather. Recovery crews at Winona are entering their 12th day of looking for a missing La Crosse man at an accident scene. They have not found Andrew Kingsbury, believed to have drowned along with three others in an SUV that sank in the Mississippi. Winona received five inches of snow on Tuesday, and sheriff’s deputy Ron Ganrude describes how that complicated the search effort:
Ganrude says searchers have come from Wausau this week, as well as dive teams from counties along the river.
