Rivera Show At Viterbo Postponed Because Of Storms Out East
Bad weather on the East Coast has messed up plans for many theater lovers in La Crosse…
Wednesday”s concert at Viterbo featuring Chita Rivera has been postponed, because some performers and musicians cannot get from New York to La Crosse in time for the show. On the positive side, Rivera herself was in La Crosse on Tuesday to chat with Viterbo theater students, who are rehearsing ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood.’ Rivera starred in that musical on Broadway last year. Her career includes major roles in the original New York productions of ‘West Side Story,’ ‘Bye Bye Birdie,’ and ‘Chicago.’
