Many large cities in America have organized one-day exhibitions that offer services to the homeless…

One such event is scheduled next Wednesday at a La Crosse church. Our Savior’s Lutheran on Division Street will host ‘Project Homeless Connect.’ Dawn Kimpel from the La Crosse Homeless Coalition says people attending the event will have a free meal, and could get financial and legal advice. Future exhibitions in La Crosse are being planned for summertime.  Hours of the ‘Homeless Connect’ event are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Festival Foods, Family Vision Center, and Valley Dental are among the sponsors donating to the event.
