Walker Singles Out Two Locals
When Governor Scott Walker gave his state of the state address last week, two
La Crosse area workers were singled out for special recognition. Joe Neumann and Brady Dockendorff met the governor when he visited Features in Holmen last October, highlighting companies that hire workers with disabilities. And Walker clearly was impressed by them:
Walker has said that hiring disabled people for good jobs may keep them from depending on government assistance programs.
