Xcel May Lift Gas Conservation Request Today

Xcel Energy is hoping to lift its conservation request for natural gas customers today. The utility says the flow of gas is increasing, and the pipeline system was stable overnight. Xcel and some other energy companies have asked upper Midwestern customers to set their thermostats at 60 degrees to save natural gas because of current shortages.
