Now that the La Crosse County Board has decided to sell the old courthouse,

and buy a downtown bank building, a new phase of building studies will start soon.

Community development specialist Brian Fukuda says the first thing which has to happen is for Associated Bank to decide what it wants to do with land in a county parking lot:

Fukuda says it’s likely that Associated could be part of a building complex that might include apartments or a hotel.
