Walz Votes Yes On Farm Bill

Area members of Congress have split on that farm bill passed by the House…

While La Crosse’s Ron Kind voted against the bill, Minnesota’s Tim Walz voted yes, even though he doesn’t like everything about the farm plan:

The House had turned down the farm bill months ago, when Republicans argued that there weren’t cuts in food stamps.
